Will there also be an edition for running a free, open access scientific journal? Asking for a friend

I think it depends on if you're looking to flip a journal or if you're starting from scratch. I've previously tweeted resources about flipping, want me to dig up the tweet?

This would be a great resource to also share with , as they have been covering the related Nearly Carbon Neutral Conference movement for some time (For example )

Excellent, will spread! Try to take into account especially to what extent technical solutions can be used globally (aren't blocked)... some more suggestions for this?

For example, Zoom is blocked in several countries (those which the US has sanctions on), effectively shutting out a couple of billion people ;) Always important to not rely on one technical solution.

Looks great, I think it'll be really useful to have a few case studies to link to as well

Two suggestions: 1) Does it have to be all on one day or during one week? Let's get away from this in-person setting, regular exchange has more value, i.e. 2 weeks 2) put a large effort into the social / networking part (virtual coffee breaks/yoga sessions)
