Once you understand the mechanics of converting protocols into concrete types, you gotta ask yourself... which of my protocols would be better represented as simple data types? You may be surprised at how much more flexibility and transformability you gain out of doing so...

This is one of the best talks I've seen in a while. We need more talks about ethics and the human side of sofware. The best starts after 17' if you're busy. "Scaling the Software Artisan" by

Please RT if you aren't new to tech but still get the "Imposter syndrome" amidst all your experience. Having people Realize their favorites/mentors/role model also go through that, helps a lot on their tech journey and personal development.

Just finished One thing I'm missing is a list of all the techniques it talks about. It's hard to go back in the Kindle and try to find them one by one. Anybody knows if there's a place where I can get just a list with the titles? cc

I mostly use it for merge/rebase conflicts and when I want to check a specific diff for a file. For PRs I just use GitHub's diff. That being said, you can use and together and do a diff between branches locally. That might help you out?

Not sure this would help for PRs but I locally use that gives you the option to use whatever u want

PSA: Your Swift 4.1, 4.0, and 3.* modules can **not** depend on a Swift 4.2 module. But a Swift 4.2 module can depend on Swift 4.1, 4.0, and 3.* modules. Happy versioning folks 🤦‍♂️
