Yeah, I know Sam personally as well :) "dep" (the dependency management project) is really nice for Go projects, but in Vim that would be not easy as users don't have `dep` preinstalled.

it's too much work nowadays. We fix one, the next day something else is broken. We shouldn't spend time on this imho. Also it will make vim-go stable to have stable relationship with its tools.

The beauty of `go get` though is that we don't distribute binaries. It's compiled automatically on the host and it's much more safer (because all the tools are open source). Forking all the tools is one way to do it.

I think it's time to rethink how to provide and distribute the underlying binaries (tools) we use for vim-go. The current approach of using `go get` started to causing problems because upstream doesn't play nicely with us.

Osman yine duygularima tercuman olmus. Genel olarak insanlar sevmedigi icin, antipati olusuyor. Tabi ki yoksa bir kisinin yorumuyla buna karar vermemelisin, senin siten, senin oyun alanin sonucta :)
