Cosmonauts, you'll want to see this. In three minutes, mints four new tokens across three sovereign blockchains and transfers these tokens between the chains. Check it out:

Hi! Yeah, we've removed modules from the template that are not strictly necessary for a basic app, but app.go is still pretty heavy.

Replying to @gadikian
What I mean is if one is building an app based on data from an existing chain (say, Cosmos Hub), they can either use HTTP API to fetch data or run a full-node to get the same data. Latter is more reliable, because it's also using Tendermint for replication.

I had a realization that the proper way of building data-intensive applications on top of Tendermint-based chains is, well, to use Tendermint. It’s already good at replicating data and I doubt that an ad-hoc solution will perform better.

As for polling, it fetches all txs from all chains when starting up, writes them to DB, and subscribes to all :26657 of all chains. Messages from sockets are then written to DB and sent to front-end clients using socket-io.

Hi! Yes, for now adding chains is done manually. I'll automate it as soon as I know where the list of chains will be stored for the game. Right now it's here:
