We probably won’t add it back to the managed workflow in the short term because of risk and maintenance cost: . You will need to eject or use the bare workflow to keep using Branch.

my first pass at giving a high-level walkthrough of the managed workflow is live in the docs! i wanted to be able to communicate what the process looks like end-to-end and concretely by showing the tools in action in short embedded videos.

This is a change after SDK 33 was released. Earlier SDK 33 APKs won't have 64-bit support but newer ones as of a week or so ago will.

Never thought this day would come but I'm completely sold on React Native and . Our app runs extremely well on 3 platforms from a single codebase. Not sure I'd recommend anyone start with 'native' app dev now. I do miss Kotlin, though.

We’ll look at Hermes but stability and debuggability (this is actually where Hermes can do better than JSC) are more important than rushing to use the latest software. All in due time.

Six months ago the community told us Hot Reloading was a major pain point. A better Fast Refresh mode is on it's way into React Native. It's resilient to errors (no need for full reloads after a typo) and supports function components with Hooks. Check it out:

give your hot reloading in React Native issues and in return he will do his best to fix them, pretty good deal, take advantage of it now while he is focused on this!
