Cool stuff, ! Turbolizer started as (and pretty much remains) a skunkworks project. If you have suggestions or fixes, let me know!

oh, you’re totally right about the complexity thing. I couldn’t resist trolling you a bit tho, and as you know it’s the dilemma we wrestle with every day in V8: balancing the minimization of complexity on the vm-side with maximizing developer efficiency, productivity and reach.

imagine the world where a language is available on billions of devices—client, server, desktop, mobile, web, native—where developers can already ship their code and use countless off-the-shelf libs… and you don't need to explain why they need to learn a new language to do that.

Nice to see the correlation between the real-world V8 client-side optimizations and nodejs perf!

Great client-side V8 performance wins with Ignition, Turbofan and whole host of other runtime optimizations!

A very comprehensive discussion about why the performance of ES2015+ features matters and what V8 is doing about it.

Never seen V8 used as clickbait before, but the story about V8's real-world performance focus is right on the money.

A nice deep-dive and good context to why the V8 team is no longer using these benchmarks as a primary driver of our optimizations.

The WebAssembly Browser Preview in Chrome is here! Kudos to Chrome’s Wasm teams on both sides of the Atlantic.
