Ours were gripped by it for months. They got over it.

We all have those superpowers that we don’t want. I feel the same way about making printers and copiers inham themselves.

The cup-shaped objects are their lamps. The Wise Virgins are awake and holding them. It's just...less interesting a composition.

I mostly think it's the price I pay for not blowing up the rest of my life in these times. Something's gotta give; better my ability to reliably find my keys than my relationships with my family.

I think we need about now, so here are the Foolish Virgins from the porch of St Fin Barre's Cathedral in Cork.

What if that 25% (the numbers of actual trans people are actually smaller) is enough that Pride becomes "seen" as having a political aspect? Because it's not about facts. The phrasing in the article demonstrates that it's about perception...but it's not clear whose.

What if evangelism is an integral part of the faith? For example, Mormons who are required to do missionary years, Jehovah's Witnesses going door to door with copies of the Watchtower, evangelical Protestants? There are religions where preaching is part of worship.

You brought up the idea that people object to it. Define what people object to and let's look at the proposals to see if they're really what you say they are.

Oh, really not.

I don't think you quite get the role of evangelism in many more conservative Protestant churches.

Do you actually know what self ID entails? Do you know what changes are proposed under the GRA? And the GRA doesn't protect women; that's the Equalities Act, to which there are no proposed changes. It allows single-sex spaces where they are needed and that is not changing.

Plenty of churches include evangelism in their beliefs.

Well, OK, but if I'm going to church am I really impartial about issues to do with the role of religion in public life?

No; there are political movements that advocate harm to other people, and those are not OK. There are others that advocate for equality for people who are not equal before the law, and those are necessary.

But will it be "seen" as one? such as 'with the "trans issue"'? The article thinks that it will be, and knowing TERFs, I agree. (Again, a quote from the article).

Islamophobes? Yes, in fact, they do. All over Europe. What does this have to do with anything?

Is Pride a protest? What if it's "seen" as a protest? (Want to bet how the anti-trans lobby will "see" any gathering of trans people, or the inclusion of trans people in Pride?)

Bless your heart, but really, there are plenty of people who think even a woman covering her hair while she goes about her day is political. I don't know if you're just cut off from the news or willfully blind, but in either case, it's not giving you any credibility whatsoever.
