This is the guy on Radio4's PM programme, Dragons' Den and the Bottom Line. These are only my views - the BBC has no views.

I guess my sense is that recriminations for past failings (like pre-March) are for later.. but I'd hate you to think that I don't realise there are a lot of questions to be asked about the situation now, and the actions being taken to improve it.

Very sad news. He taught me economic theory for a term and I have to say I have rarely encountered anyone as decent and civil. Always pleasant, upbeat, encouraging and well-mannered, however stupid I was being.

Fair point. But I saw two people greeting each other this morning who did so in a way that I telepathically thought was not a greeting of house mates. It would not be appropriate to convict on the basis of my judgement though.

We just had 8 mins of on the programme looking at the stats and their flaws. True, that specific problem was not mentioned, but it is well known that we only count hospital cases so we are measuring a fraction of the total.

I don't remember saying we should not ask questions now. Every day the same questions are asked, as I dutifully report on PM. There will be an inquiry that will try to get definitive answers.

Yes and no. I don't worry as much as you about it as I think the audience can judge for themselves whether it is spin or public health information, and they can see how well the questions are answered.

What are WFH home people doing radio -wise? I’m roughly doing; rewound to the start from 0730 Then maybe a smidge of Ken Bruce into Leave JV early for Then I’ve a gap I don’t really know what to do with until at 4.30. 🤷🏼‍♂️
