Izaak’s concern expressed here. And rightly so. We should be concerned. More kids of his age (10) need to get involved as it is really their lives that are at stake most.

This letter from the Mayor, in response to my objections to developer plans at Elephant, suggests he will be firm on lack of affordable housing. Also refutes claims made to Southwark they have secured GLA grants already, but doesn’t tackle impact on latin businesses.

Just gone out to Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London - 21 local campaign groups based in The Elephant write Open Letter to ask GLA to call in the Shopping Centre planning application & direct to refuse unless significant community benefits approved - housing, traders support etc.
