Thank you for your time and the endorsement. The Maroon has done a great job covering this race long before it was popular.

Working with them has been a blast—I can’t have imagined a more capable slate to succeed us at the end of the quarter. Being in Maroon leadership has never been easy, but fwiw Pete, Katie, Antonia, and I will always be rooting for them in good days and bad.

It’s crazy rare for a recent college grad to become the editor of a professional newspaper... But Adam—the quintessential newsman—was the best editor I’ve had so no surprise there. Congrats!

That’s fair. I’m sorry that I’m so out of the loop on this. We might not be rivals but it’s great that ppl in the area have multiple (though different) sources to turn to for information. I’m excited for your next issue!

I thought otherwise because a lot of the Weekly ppl I encountered were white, and since the South Side is like ~10% white I associated them with . But it might have just been an irregular random sample

It was a comment in jest; always respected the South Side Weekly's coverage of the surrounding communities. I'm kind of surprised about the non UofC-centered org part, though. The SSW staff is mostly non-UofC ppl now?

I explain in this article why The Maroon published President Zimmer's voting history. Hint: despite what some commenters have suggested, it wasn't because I'm a North Korean agent or worked at Facebook.
