Agreed - JP version looks like the team did it (like with Ico), and the fact that we can't understand it kind of adds to the sense of the game being set in another world... our versions just look like what a western marketing department comes up with

Also approve of the new box art, which is more like the original, more tonally accurate Japanese version - the colossus turned away and unaware, player as morally ambiguous backstabber / intruder in their world:

Shadow of the Colossus on PS4 looks nice, but the bigger deal is people still having easy access to one of the best games of all time. If you've not played it yet, etc etc:

Yeah, iphones have “find my phone” with a Lost Mode, where you can display a message with a button to call a specified number - worked great :)

Yeah i started recording a youtube version of my gdc talk and had the same surprise problem. Concluded that (for me) “talk”-like content in a video basically has to be written and read (well) as a script
