That EPM Bloke Aug 4
One of the big changes in 11.2 was Reporting and Analysis being replaced with the Document Repository. If you want some more information on what the Document Repository looks like under the hood check out my blog post!

I'm jealous that you got to play with it already! Did you have a look at drill through?

We've spent months in integration isolation using the agent EBS GL Balance adapter to link EPM with on-prem EBS. Read 's blog to find out all about it! Also stay tuned for in-depth blogging of integration sorcery

Notable that after about twenty seconds of whinging, Melbournians have emerged in public today sporting their boutique, fair trade or home made vintage single origin perfectly colour coordinated and stylish face masks as if we have always worn them.

Wouldn't it be great if you could build an app to set sub vars and launch jobs in ? Well my colleague Richard has blogged on exactly how to do this. So much potential with this powerful combo!

G'day - I'm looking for somewhere to store code snippets online that I can share. Something with basic code formatting, tags, search function etc would be perfect. Anyone using anything they want to recommend?

Definitely pertinent! Kyle - we've talked about hybrid before, but one of the absolute killers of performance is ending up with a level 0 dynamic Calc. An orphaned parent for instance. Query times go through the roof, and it's tricky to find!

Hey! Yeah - they were tested on PBCS. Obviously you'd have to be super careful just changing to Calcparallel 6 on PBCS - as you can't really monitor the ram\cpu usage (though the Activity Report is quite useful for monitoring it during actual usage!)

And because testing and charts can say 10k words - from my kscope19 presentation on BSO optimisation.

I saw significant performance gain with Calcparallel - albeit at the cost of a decent uptick in memory usage. Fix parallel is quite effective for certain things (xrefs / xwrites) but for pure aggregation you'd need to pick a good / evenly balanced dimension. Maybe years?
