I just don't see how you would be able to use options as a cheap hedge. That's simply a wrong assumption. The implied vol of the options will give the buyer of the option a hard time to ever make money or be able to cost-efficiently hedge.

It is clear from the testimony that lawmakers aren't fluent in basic Internet concepts like metadata, parsing, heuristics, machine learning, propagation, session time, algorithmic demotion, etc . . . but the general public also lacks literacy on these vital matters.

The article is super biased. Young workers will certainly not get this treatment and temporary workers also not. There's a good reason why young people leave the country. Because they pay for moves like this....

That's only part of the truth. Great that the unions can cut their worker's hours and raise their salary. And what's with the the million temporary workers who work overtime in the industrial sector and make moves like this possible?
