Thesis: We should grow the pie in so far as it split the pie evenly
Antithesis: We should split the pie evenly in so far as it grows it
Synthesis: We should grow the pie such that the person w/ smallest slice is better off than they'd be otherwise, even if increased inequality

Relative performance is the huge part of what matters for securing limited resources: e.g. mates & real estate... Synthesis leads to growing incel type problem and radicalization, so unstable long term unless Elysium strategy deployed in parallel

This synthesis seems to ignore the fact that inequality *itself* is a destabilizing force in any society. Does this not matter? Is it considered/integrated elsewhere in a non-obvious way?

Too limiting. Decisions by those w/ no desire to succeed—even self-destructive desires—should not hold back others.
This concept could more reasonably be applied with 20th percentile replacing bottom rung, perhaps.

This ties in directly with my century OKR for humanity:
Objective: Turn humanity into a type II civilization.
Key Results:
--- Wealth: Every human has a net worth at least 100 million dollars in current USD.

Decade OKR is similar:
Objective: Create an earth of universally high living standards.
--- Wealth: Every human on earth has a UBI of 30,000$/year (current USD).
