Last month, Regional Administrator Lopez spoke at the monumental Waverly Wastewater Plant dedication ceremony. The facility renovation was possible partly through EPA’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund! Thanks to for covering the exciting facility renovation!

Today Regional Administrator Pete Lopez and HQ Assistant Administrator Peter Wright toured the new groundwater treatment plant at the American Cyanamid Superfund site in Bridgewater, NJ. EPA is proud to support efforts to keep harmful contaminants from reaching the Raritan River.

Today, Regional Administrator Pete Lopez toured the Dewey Loeffel Landfill site. In the 1950s and 1960s, the site was used as a disposal facility for more than 46,000 tons of industrial hazardous wastes. Read up on the site here:
