✨ When writing classes, don't implement methods you don't need. This metric doesn't contain the feature getAverage. Instead of implementing a method and return a "False", I don't implement it. This it's possible because I have split a huge interface into smaller interfaces.

Side note, depending on the needs of the end-user we use the synchronous transporter or the asynchronous transporter. Each means that if you don't call asynchronous methods, we don't use asynchronous code behind the scenes.

Thanks for asking that! It's not a question whether it's a good practice or not. Asynchronous libraries are used widely in all languages, especially in large scaling applications. Recently, It's becoming more and more popular in Python as makes the code non-blocking and speedy.

When your code go fully asynchronous, it means your entire codebase has to be asynchronous. 👉🏻 Every. Single. Piece.

From the beginning, write your tests to be independent of each other. Later you will be able to run your tests in parallel and make your test suite blazing fast!

For every utility you use in your language there is an equivalent in other languages that works almost in the same way. composer => pip phpunit => unittest etc...

Some lessons learned: Learning a new language is much more than learning its syntax; there is also conventions, tools, and the ecosystem around it.

Just a quick reminder: speakers at conferences are not paid, they spend a lot of time preparing their talk, they love to share their experiences and work. So please, use a simple tool to help them: positive feedbacks and kindness. 😉

You have a typo. “Datatables” should be “DataTables”.
