It's not legacy code, it's battle tested production code.

In React everyone is probably using the same popular tool. Like Redux, or even CRA. So once you're in, its so easy to get familiar with stuff

Compare that to other language ecosystem, especially C++. Everyone is building their own game engine, everything is building their own lib. Very unopinionated. And that's why it's hard :(

Here's my observation after lingering around the JS ecosystem for a while, (Still a noob though). JS ecosystem, is kinda splitted into factions. And the popular factions are React, & Vue. Talking about React ... I feel that most of the tools/libs around it are very opinionated

Very interesting technique, in particular storing fewer bits of hash in property maps. Although hopefully conflict is still less likely :v

No wonder. I was sort of expecting that. Things could be nice if the django itself can act as the on demand html builder instead of express. JS ecosystem is too coupled to JS

Any reason of still using Razzle then (SSR) ? Why not just serve static html files, it could prove to be much faster as u pre-build the html files.

probably. are u running the backend on django or nodejs ? Is it the same instance ? Although I do find it weird if u r deploying razzle (a SSR) app but not using the node/ expressjs for the backend
