thanks for responding to this query, just catching up on the question posed about to . While CSCC is a 62 yr old affiliate Council of AACC it's an independent organization; to the point AACC doesn't set or steer CSCC'S agenda or convenings.

Yep! It's not about paying back but pay it forward. We don't necessarily get it returned by those we intentionally assist but it always comes full circle. There's nothing and no one that can block your blessings when you authentically seek to be a blessing to others.

Today, a student of color asked me how he can support me as a faculty of color. It’s the first time a student has ever asked me that, and it blew my mind. It felt so refreshing to be seen in this way and served as a reminder that I’m not alone.
