Most Facebook users continue to get value from the platform, i.e. they use it to interact with people every day. DNA kits are one and done. Most customers aren't going back to revisit their health + ancestry reports.

The two patients named in the story tried all available treatments, including rehab, before getting a brain implant. For now, this is only being tested in a handful of people who have run out of other options.
