Interesting article from our trauma group. 4-PCC + FFP associated with reduced mortality, AKI, ARDS, and hospital LOS compared to FFP alone during trauma resus in non-anticoagulated patients. Retrospective, but interesting nonetheless.

Was able to titrate a burn patient off of pressors after administration of hydroxycobalamin due to its activity as a NO scavenger. BP peaked at end of infusion, but remained high for > 4 hours. Cool stuff!

I agree epi is unlikely to make a difference in any traumatic arrest. The answer is volume. I wouldn't fight someone who is elbow deep in another human's chest on it, but good question for after action review or during pre arrival planning.
