It is an absolute blast! Some of the content is geared toward a different student population than mine, but I would still recommend and just up the difficulty. So much fun. And as I work for a DO school, it’s good for hand-work ☺️☺️

Our lab also uses tissue clearing and light sheet microscopy to study the evolution of axon guidance. Here is one cool video (watch until the end...) done by François Friocourt a former PhD student

I happily told her about my great-grandfather immigrating here from Jalisco, Mexico 🇲🇽 in 1913!! He was 12yo. Thankfully I have great memories of him.

Today during a Histo review session, I made a quick side comment en español. Afterwards a female student asked if I was Hispanic. When I replied yes, she was visibly excited, and said ‘oh how cool!’ It was a great moment for us both.
