I have a bad habit of addressing general groups as "guys". It still slips out. I've always searched for a better word, usually I end up with "folks", which I also don't like. "Everyone" also works. Or you can omit any of them and use nothing. I'm open to more suggestions.

Really great read, wish it would have existed when I started getting into that topic. Are you planning to spend a word on cgroups and the Go runtime in the next article? Asking because it seems there's still manual CPU/Heap configuration needed to align with cgroups.

That series is a great resource if you are serious about Go programming. Worth every dollar and not a big expense considering the advantages of Safari subscription anyways. If you want a Go by example book, you might want to check out Go Programming Blueprints
