Hmm it’s tricky!! Depending on your personality it might be best to do it from the onset! My advice is that you be in the know! I have always co-managed myself since day 1! Even down to negotiating like I’m “my manager” to sending emails as “my manager”

Easiest way is by using the pitch tools on the apps that have it eg on but more importantly content!!! Content!! Content if u add that with a good distributor that also pitches then u are good to go

Good question! It can be 100% cash to u or y can take say 50% cash in hand and 50% for content, promo, or you can take the 10m and make sure there is a marketing commitment (where promo and video shoots will come from) this is what I have done the 2 times I’ve taken advances

I spoke to the CBN Governor in 2018 & a couple Bank MD’s & a fund was created but the truth is that they don’t have internal capacity to descide who gets the money, how to get it back, they might still ask for collateral sigh

It’s hard for me I check everything from your streams on old songs, your social media engagement, but I really can’t descide untill I pair you with say a don like or and hear what u are able to produce

Offline is a different story barrier to entry is a lot higher! I keep learning that side everyday! Actually building capacity for that at the moment

Yes they can still get their 30% post recoup until the deal ends. Deals can last for as long or short as possible no real formula

Get a good manager that can do it if you can. In the end you have to know your worth and also It’s a negotiation no real formula

It depends on what kind of advance it is. But assuming it’s a 360 advance once ur earnings pay out the advance the split is straight up from then on so if it’s 60 to the label and 40 to you, unless renogitiated it will stay same till the deal ends meaning u get paid 1m I get 400k
