After SpaceX engineers retracted and locked 1 leg, they immediately moved over to leg 2. It took just 15 minutes for them to lift and lock leg 2! Here’s a closeup look at the locking mechanism, it has cables attached. Can’t see the mechanism on leg 1.

One of the biggest reusability improvements was fast leg stow. Version 1 sometimes took days.

Watch out! Suborbital Jeff is gonna copy it and then try to patent it under 'rapidly reusable leg stowing technique'

You mentioned once that the new heat shield on Block 5 is liquid cooled?!? Is that right? Is it transpiration cooled or did any of that development inspire Starship liquid cooled heat shielding?

It's was "just" RP-1 running through the shield right?

What have been the technical challenges with getting it to work with Block 5? It seems like it has taken a bit longer than expected to get it working?

Congrats! I’m on the verge of ordering M3 in Sweden, just wish you could confirm Model3 tow hitch. I have a horse to tow! Pick-up’s not that big around here, we’re towing boats 🚤 and horses 🐎 with regular cars. Thanks! Sorry for being repetitive😊

New rockets are awesome and great step forward they can land and be reused. Do you have an idea of carbon footprint involved in a payload being supplied to the ?

Relatively small. Approximately equivalent to a wide body aircraft crossing the Atlantic. Obvious difference being, there are a handful of rocket launches a year vs millions of flights.

There is something inherently beautiful about a used Falcon 9 that a pristine example just doesn't have. The thought of what it has been through and is then just sat there ready to do it all again... Really Beautiful.
