When you're responding to an emergency situation, you want all of the options available to you. If any of the kids had been sick or unable to make the dive, this capsule would have given the rescue team another option. Kudos to you for building it.

The so-called "Miracle" here is simply intergenerational hard work. Thank 2,000 years of Western basic science, innovation, invention for the scuba gear, knowledge of gas/PVT, comms, GPS, etc. + "toxic masculinity" for the actual rescues.
