In riots like this, like in May ’98, the victims and the victimized were the minorities—the ethnic Chinese and the poor. If you still don’t know privilege, this is what privilege is: you’re not shaking in fear of being murdered and raped while you know other people are. >>

Because just like in May ’98 we have heard in advance that riots may take place… I know the only reason I’m - while afraid - not pissing myself in fear is because I’m not in the most vulnerable target groups. >>
