One thing I don't get about OOP / Swift: Why is `private` not the default? I always end up with tons of private declarations because that's what most variables/functions are.

Mini function of the day: `nextEvent()`. Gives you a promise for the next event of a certain type. Really nice in conjunction with async/await.

You can add events/moments to it and it counts every day that passes. You can then reset the counter to zero when the event/moment happened, again.
