There is a natural tension between product, Eng, and design and in other circumstance product, marketing and sales. I agree not everyone will always be happy. with a good PM people will view trade offs made by PM as coming from a company-first place.

I see PM core responsibilities as:
1) Represent the user
2) Champion business case
3) Make sure everyone around project is heard, bought in and happy
4) Help project converge on deadline

I think it is less about dilution and more that, on average, it is better to have a co-founder who is clearly in charge versus "equal cofounders". This can be done via equity and board, or via clear role definition, or both.

I think that was the early hypothesis and then they found highly related viruses in wild bats. I think they know view SARS as bat virus with perhaps as well a jump into civets in a wild meat market.

My point was less about Bat Soup per se, and more that eating wild mammals is likely to create more zoonotic events like this one. Bats in particular seem to have given us SARS, MERS, this new virus, as well as potentially being reservoirs for ebola and marburg viruses...

Given that SARS, MERS, Wuhan Coronavirus all seem to have jumped out of bats, maybe something that would discourage capture and cooking of bats?
