Quick thread for all appalled by Fraser Anning's speech. Don't waste time screaming into the twitter void to people who already agree with you. Make your views known to those who need to hear it. Below is a handy list of contact details. Feel free to retweet.

Anning's speech was not 'controversial'. It is hate speech. Pure hate. It is the speech of a white supremacist. He is not being controversial - he is openly expressing racist hate in a place of power, from a position of power.

This is racism and bigotry openly on display in the Australian Parliament. The use of such language risks inciting the most serious kind of hatred and violence against Muslims. Anyone who knows a thing about history will have felt a shiver up their spine

Hello, I'm interested in any UNSOLVED STUPID MYSTERIES from your life. I'm talking about that weird suburban legend you can't stop thinking about, the fucked up neighbourhood occurrence that was big news to you and your mum, the dumb school scandal. Tweet or DM me babies!

it's such a weird time for me to revisit it, too! It's still pretty draining but a little easier when you know what's coming. x

I'm re-reading this atm. I don't know why - I have so many urgent books on my TBR pile, but I just picked it up again. I think it's the most horrific and lovely book I've ever read.

YES! I've got het male friends I've had forever and I adore them and we just get each other, but there is absolutely NOTHING sexual there. At all. And I've been thinking how rare it is that those friendships are explored properly.

It's the perfect song for that scene (but I'm a die-hard Nick Cave fan, so I'm also biased).

This is what I thought but I made the mistake of googling and I seem to be in the minority! I love the depth of their friendship and how well they understand each other and sexualising it just makes me sad.
