To allow civil construction to begin for the pump house, almost 190,000m3 of earth was excavated over the past year in this area of site alone. The pump house will contain cooling water systems and supporting systems such as filtration and ventilation.

A Bylor steel fixer works on rebar cages which will be constructed and stored in the prefabrication yard, before being transported to different parts of site to construct key structures.
