Congratulations to the Kier BAM site team who raised £500 through ‘Gill’s Cake Sale’ for local school Willowdown Primary. The money will go towards creating a ‘Forest School’, an outdoor learning space designed to engage and encourage inclusivity for all learners.

The Kier BAM team at Point C has now installed of over 70km of ground nails as part of the slope protection works. Laid end to end the ground nails installed so far would cover the distance between Manchester and Leeds.

Well done to the Point C team who spent a morning last week collecting litter from Shurton Beach. In total, 30 bags of rubbish were collected from the beach and nearby fields.

Progress continues to be made on the pre-stressing gallery as concrete is poured. The gallery is a circular tunnel structure which surrounds the nuclear island.

We have a responsibility to be a good neighbour and to deal with litter in the proximity of HPC. We have reminded our contractors to dispose of waste appropriately. On 16 May, in partnership with the local parish council, we are organising a litter pick on Shurton Bars foreshore.
