2/ With that said, I don’t enjoy the “influence” that came with it. This is not something I wish to have during a bull run which will be full of mania, hype and eventual toxicity. I have no interest in people looking to me for advice, especially that of financial nature.

1/ Hey ya’ll. I’ve decided to take an indefinite (and potentially permanent) break from this place. I used Twitter to help bring the community together during the depths of bear. It was a lot of fun and I think those of us that stuck around were essential for Ethereum’s future.

7/ If people are constantly keeping receipts just in case something fails and then they can call people out, I really have no interest in being in this part of the community anymore.

6/ I got into Ethereum because it is decentralized and permissionless. That fascinates me but with that will come chaos for many, many years. I have no interest in playing blame games for those that are experimenting or building applications that tap into that experimentation.

5/ My background is in trading/finance and I am NOT in Ethereum to hand hold people through investments. I'm going to talk about what's hot in the community at any given point. Bull and bear markets will have different hot topics, yield farming just happens to be that topic now.

4/ This has resulted in and I putting out free content nearly every day for 2.5 years. We don't have to do this but we love Ethereum and we love the community. It's fun but it's VERY thankless at times and being called an "influencer' annoys the fucking shit out of me.

3/ I've been in Ethereum since the start but I only started being public on twitter 2.5 years ago because this is where the community had moved. It was never a plan to fall into an "education" niche, it just kind of happened. I still don't know how.

2/ Let me start by saying this was my first tweet about YAM.

1/ There’s lots of blame and fingering pointing being thrown around with the YAM saga. One group being pointed at are the "twitterati". Since I take that as an accusation upon myself, even if people aren’t saying it directly, I’d like to address it.

I just love what the team is building. Thx sharing it with me. It would be great to have a feature to unify several addressed into one portfolio view. Now I have to switch among them.

There's already $35mn in a new unaudited farming contract out there. Seriously, it's not stopping for awhile, might as well just accept it and watch.

It doesn't matter if YAM failed, this market will move onto the next thing. Even if there is no audit, it won't care. This is how bull markets in crypto work, they are irrational and no tweet will stop them. The only way you can prevent getting rekt is not participating.

📉 We are now almost at -7,000 ETH a day, if EIP-1559 was implemented. If this was an average, it would result in a yearly deflation of the ETH supply by about 2%.

"We will be setting up a Gitcoin grant to coordinate a community-funded audit of the YAM contracts. If the funding goal is reached, upon the completion of the audit, we plan to support the launch of YAM 2.0 via migration contract from YAM."
