I’m curious as well. One of the reasons our team switched to Parcel is it didn’t use Babel as default and was still super fast. Babel takes away features that are still supported in TSC...

I did! The problem is convincing others whether testing a text field changing based on a button being pressed is testing that should be done with RTL or Cypress? Also, arguing whether testing the function is being done by checking the output to the DOM.

my work is right now struggling with the line where would start/end and where testing with would start/end. Both types of tests are required for our contract. I read through your blogs for an answer with no luck. Please help? Thanks!

I think that toxicity was really the Windows guys and Office guys feeling like they ruled the world and being allowed to do so. Not sure how that translates to current situation.

Besides giving devs I would say is above and beyond giving developers the best tools/experience the past couple years and killing it. Your mileage may vary but I don’t think a bad culture can produce this stuff. It just might not be “your” culture.

I wish I could. I’m purposely being vague to a degree as I am not at liberty to discuss. Sorry. I was just hoping to give some insight that some user bases prefer the single line style input. I believe both styles can be done correctly.

Mixed Age/Gender/Race 18-55. Validated input of information used to determine precise movement of goods. These forms have “lots” of inputs. They mostly agreed the boxes, shown in multiple shades/ways, felt like an “older version”. No disabilities. Dual 24” screens, latest Chrome.

Not sure this is the go to answer. An information gathering session with 30 representatives of a customer (yes that many) yielded a 24/30 response in favor of lines over boxes for the 20-30 forms we needed to build for them.
