App Review relented and finally approved an app that’s been sitting in my documents folder for over a year. It’s called HN Pro (yes, Yet Another Hacker News Client). The world needed another one. Free for the next week, so grab it while it’s fresh! 👇🏻

I set it to $0.00 a couple hours ago, maybe it just hasn’t gone through yet.

There is a new focus on remote work, but I think it's just a stepping stone towards something much more interesting: flexible work. Step one: Work wherever you want Step two: Work as little or as much as you want

It's also possible to slack and get lucky. But not likely. 😉

One thing I learned from playing music is that audience enjoyment isn't closely related to technical difficulty. Another is that audiences prefer simple things done well to difficult things done poorly.

One thing you learn after having kids is what's the biggest favor you can do for anyone with kids: something that helps their kids.

Absolutely! Honest answer is that sales just haven't been large enough to justify updates. Didn't think anyone wanted it :)

“What’s ironic about our tendency to attribute bad intentions to others is how differently we treat ourselves. When your husband forgets to pick up the dry cleaning, he’s irresponsible. When you forget to book the airline tickets, it’s because you’re overworked and stressed out.

Homeassistant is awesome, but you need a Raspberry Pi to run it and works with pretty much everything so it’s nice to have. Look into getting into the Z wave ecosystem since that opens up a ton more options (e.g. change light color based on temperature or the room, etc)
