As I consolidate to using fewer and fewer regular online services over time, regression-type bugs become a bigger pain point. If you're very dependent on something and it fails, that margin of understanding ends up being much smaller and it all become a short route to turnover.

It's so weird. I'm all for releasing paid updates but a content blocker is a perfect fit for a subscription model.

Progress is the result of pushing yourself to the edge of what you believe is possible. In some cases, you’re already there, and you just need to train your mind to realize it.

let's be less concerned with ownership of ideas. It is important that ideas see the light of day even if you don't get the credit for them. Let's be less concerned with credit awards and external validation.

Overjoyed that Apple has decided not only to release FoundationDB — the best piece of software I’ve ever worked on or used — to the public, but to OPEN SOURCE IT!

So, this is weird. Gmail has started inserting zero-width unicode spaces in random parts of outgoing emails. Anyone have any idea what this is about?

Make it repeat before the 12th (1st) and make the due date the 14th?

Interested in fitness? No better combo exists than the three events of the triathlon. Swimming develops the upper-body muscles. Cycling and Running develop the lower-body muscles, although somewhat different ones. Even if you don't compete in triathlons, train like one.

Planes can actually fly on none...these things are built to glide. At 30k feet, assuming you're not over a large body of water, you're fine. My flight instructor switched off engine power during my training and I had to land at an airport 50mi away. They love doing that shit.
