It is a privilege to have been selected to represent the DUP in the upcoming Local Government Elections. Given the chance, I will work for all in our community, to help shape a better society that we can all be proud of.

Really honoured to accompany to an event being held by the Nepalese Ambassador for the Nepalese people living here in Northern Ireland. The linkages between the people of Nepal and the UK go back a long long way, symbolised of course in The Royal Gurkha Rifles.

📹 Gregory Campbell MP: The European Union's insistence on the backstop is going to prove the most expensive financial and political wrongdoing in the past 60 years because there cannot be a hard border because of the complexity of the border on the island of Ireland.

📹 "Yesterday, Simon Coveney ruled out legally binding language even outside the Withdrawal Agreement. Does he accept that some rhetoric coming from the Irish gov't & others is bringing about the very thing they say they want to avoid - the possibility of no deal?

After the traumatic night glad the families concerned can return to their houses. Sadly some in our country can’t move on from the violent and murderous activities of the past. When all parties take the lead and unequivocally support the police their network will be gone.

“When the Assembly was functioning from 2007 until 2016, progress was being made. Old barriers were being broken down. Indeed, demands for a border poll were almost non-existent. Was this the real problem for Sinn Fein?”

“Sinn Fein may have a list of demands about the Irish language which they need to satisfy a section of their support base but I have a growing list of demands from all over the country from people who want to see progress in their schools, roads and hospitals.”

“The restoration of Stormont shouldn’t be about political brinkmanship or about party advantage. It should be about people. Whether it is contracts not being awarded, reforms not implemented or laws not passed – our constituents are feeling the pain.”

“We will say ‘no’ when the deal is not suitable but we will not be afraid to ‘yes’ when the deal is right. We will measure any new draft Withdrawal Agreement against our own tests of both protecting the Union and respecting the referendum result.”

The only way to a majority in the House of Commons is with DUP votes. With necessary changes to the Backstop the Prime Minister will have our support.
