Welfare has rather helpfully now lobbed up a "Quick Guide- Data Protection Commissioner’s Report on the Public Services Card " It is in fact a take down of the report as far as I can see.

In a few hours we will see the report from . I thought I'd flag some things we should watch for: 1) Redactions. Any redaction might hide evidence that used to formulate their findings. So, redaction + claim of no evidence = bullshit.

From artist Garrett Phelan - a timely reminder as approaches this week: Respect the arts. Fund them, don’t just promote them.

Good morning. The Department has refused to release the report to under FOI legislation. Its reasons are both contradictory and familiar.

Hey, funky folk. I wrote a real life big post on how we still need broadcasting in an on-demand world and how to change the usual RTÉ funding bunfight into a conversation that serves us, the audience.

I was meant to attend the Modernist Studies Association conference this year but cannot due to finances. As ever, has been fantastic and asked me to provide a statement instead. This will be read out at MSA 2019, but I wanted to share it here first.
