Sadly, my Ancient History timeline and my US Political timeline have essentially merged.

There is no justification for the use of force against the people in front of those vehicles.

An online retailer is of the view that since I just received my purchase of High-Discharge long-life xenon headlights, I would be interested in every other High-Discharge long-life xenon headlights they carry. Even the Belgae were not as self-defeating.

It seems well-in-hand. And, time and funding are old headaches; think of how long it took the regular moneyers' grandfathers to raise the vig to get their boys into the game. Metellus here didn't get the job because he knew what elephants look like...

Greatly appreciated an informative web-look today at the ambitious Roman Republic Die Project hosted led by and Dr. Lucia Carbone, based on an astonishingly detailed analog project. An important, long-term, benefit to the field.

Obviously, then, the copies of this book that Claudius and I have must never have been tainted by trade...

If it was a Sherman and not an ATG, the tank would likely have to be in the photo..... unless the camera was on the tank.

That's Brooklyn for you. Last time I petted a horse, 5 minutes later, it tripped on Rhineland slate that would be great terroir for Riesling in 2000, but instead screwed up my peaceful incorporation of central Europe to the Roman Republic under Augustus's auspices.

Not an easy task, especially given the number of RR in the offering! Is that mark from truncation to chin a die-break or a scratch?

I have seen this photograph time and again, for decades, without having names to salute. A bridge too far, yet Trooper Cortmann exceeded. Rest in Peace.

All respect to the "stringbag" crews, who brave sea, fire, and elements against them. And at the same time note that if your "cutting edge" technology, at best, slows down your competitor's "Death Star", you are praying, not preparing.

"Hey, Pops," says Claudius, "sorry I didn't deify you, but maybe you'd feel better sorting some Etruscans? Unless, of course, they're merely "Umbrians"" .... says the 2030 year-old boy, with a chortle, as he exits, leaving lock-down dishes inadequately scrubbed.

Except for this As. The symbol drifts in and out of consciousness, like a Prow intruding on a Crescent grasped by an Eagle .... within a Smudge.... a 36.76 g. Smudge.
