Preying on families that have been through so much trauma and are just trying to get back on their feet...robbing them of the last money left to their name that they just received to compensate for their home that burnt to the ground....its absolutely unbelievably awful.

PLEASE HELP US, I'm begging you. My mother and brother are incredible people, were very connected to their community in Paradise and are just trying to rebuild their life and get some semblance of security and stability.

My mom couldn't have known, followed the instructions, and didn't think anything of it until she followed up and nothing had been received by her escrow company. They told her the email was fraudulent (email addresses slightly changed)...that the wire had gone to some account...

it looked just like all the other emails they'd been passing back and forth, they had all my moms info and the info about the property--all the info on the realtor and escrow officer....it ooked completely legit and followed common escrow/title instructions to wire the money.

When my brother first called me crying, explaining what happened, I was worried that my mom (over 50) may not have been as internet savvy and fallen for something. But no...They posed as the escrow officer, looped in their realtor to confirm (also fake),

My mother and brother suffer from anxiety and depression, they have ptsd from this horrific incident..and now they've been robbed of all they have left in this world to provide them a permanent residence and some stability. I am losing total faith in humanity.

*SIGNAL BOOST* My mom and brother survived the deadly in Paradise, our childhood home burned down along with the rest of the town. They finally found a home to buy and their escrow info was compromised and they just got $408,000 stolen from them.

Just to raise some awareness about our health system and the CDC— I am spending $550 today to POSSIBLY get a formal lyme disease diagnosis. To put into perspective why I think the risk is worth it, 2 years & 6 doctors later (11 including ER visits) no one has helped me.

Not the prettiest or most colorful smoothie bowl but it was damn sure delicious 🤤. . Pineapple, strawberries, mango, banana and coconut ❣️ coconut has bomb healing properties and i love the crunch of the flakes on top 🤯. . . .

i need to prove a point‼️ rt if you: -ever had to sacrifice your mental health to get a grade -ever cried because of school -ever felt sad or stupid because someone in a position of power at school made feel like that -got a bad grade at a presentation bc of anxiety problems

It’s quite depressing when you have a hidden infection that is not recognized by the or the IDSA. Even more so when the average doctor has no clue and figures you for some kind fool. All because medicine stopped listening long ago.
