I am very lucky to live in a country with a health service staffed by people that do their very best to treat everyone equally, irrespective of who they are, what they do, believe or say. And so is Laurence.

It's not big, and it's not clever - as we used to say in the playground.

A blast (smell) from the past but makes an excellent point in this new Brut commercial. Have you ever seen a bigger load of trite/shite than the other perfume / aftershave/ EDT ads out there?

We need to be open with the public & be proud that 80% of diagnoses are made on the history alone & that the stethoscope is mostly just a large status necklace! It’s the listening ears without the stethoscope that really count.

A beautiful part of the world. I grew up in Ross and was born 400 yds from that spire. Fantastic quality of life. Nice little hospital too.

because NHS already has 1 in 8 nursing vacancies 1 in 11 vacancies in medicine and AHPs vacant and even if fully established has fewer doctors and nurses per 1000 nations than the rest of the OECD (along with Ireland). There is no "magic staffing tree". No NHS reserve.

Useless for most of the year, the enormous ears at last proved their worth; becoming a vital tool for powering through the deep snow.

We need to be ready. But they still need to pass the approval process.

To be accurate when I see we are ready, I mean locally in my part of Glos. Not party to how arrangements are going nationally but everyone in primary care working to same time scale, albeit facing different challenges. We happen to have a perfect venue. Lucky.

Receiving lots of queries about when Covid vaccination programme will start. Don't know is the simple answer. GPs have been asked to be ready from tomorrow, and we are, but awaiting regulatory approval (US FDA meets on 10th Dec - don't have timeline for UK MHRA).

The little squirt could use a stepping stool instead.
