Good advice. We actually offer our clients easy exit / upgrade / downgrade options from our services as a benefit of working with us right from the on-boarding stage. I wish the same could be said for large firms like BT.

Very wise! Not relying on external services but able to use 'em easily (just a JSON Hyper Schema which I can throw away if )

A good design principle tho time-to-market, cost and scalability/QoS considerations often dictate these can't be done simultaneously (or at all)
