No idea, I’m not an epidemiologist or a doctor, I just happened to see that article right before reading your thread. Age seems to be the most straightforward answer as to the difference, but now you’ve got me reading up on active placebos. 🤯

The only difference between me today and me 10 years ago is that I’ve seen enough problems repeatedly that I can remember solutions from memory. Otherwise it’s stack overflow and asking a friend just like 10 years ago.

I started at Apple on my 35th birthday. Every bit of software I’m proud of came after that. Everything before that was preparation. I was 39 when I started working on the original iPhone, and many of my colleagues were around the same age. Just keep going.

Ah yes, I replied to the wrong tweet. Searched my email and it looks like my year of updates from my last purchase expired over the summer, so I guess I’ll be taking advantage of the Black Friday prices. Thanks!

Can we just subscribe? I use your mockups all the time and would love to always have access to the latest. Every time I want a new device mockup I go looking for my last receipt and am confused about whether I should have access to the new ones or not.

Just one: home screen icon profiles in . ~3 weeks of work (mostly ) resulted in 5X revenue boost the first month and seems to be holding steady at 3-4X baseline. Crazy how much leverage we have building (near) zero marginal cost digital tools.

As soon as updates their drivers for the M1 I’m finally going to replace my iMac with a MacBook Air. These wide monitors are so tempting, but I feel like I need a 30 day trial to see if they’ll actually work for me. Guess I can just buy one with a good return policy.

How are the ergonomics on monitors that wide? Seems bad to be turning your head right or left for hours on end. Do you primarily have active work stuff in the center and random stuff to check in on pinned right and left?

With some careful balancing of transparency I made a variant of my Sketch icon that lets your wallpaper bleed through and color the gem itself 💎🎨 Changes throughout the day when using Apple's Gradient wallpapers 😍 (Inspired by 's excellent work on the official icon)

Regardless, if you have a team of iOS developers, upgrading their macs will likely pay for itself in around 2-4 months!

Right, that’s what I’m saying. My initial assumption, based on prior knowledge, was proven completely wrong. Apple should have come up with some new marketing name for the RAM to get the point across that it isn’t an apple’s to apple’s comparison with previous hardware.

I’m putting on sale Friday through Monday. If you’re doing similar, add it to the list! (Pour one out for , which was a nice Christmas bonus for me when we used to run it.)

🤦🏼‍♂️ What a mess. They shouldn’t be branding such crappy cameras as “FaceTime HD”. I assumed these old 720p cameras were still branded iSight.
