President Trump was asked specifically about Halper and by Hannity and he sidestepped it and instead talked at length about Comey and Hillary Clinton. Very strange. Probably was told not to spill the beans on the upcoming IG report lol.

And yet many people think he ran STRAIGHT to McCabe, Strzok and Page after firing Comey and said.....”Coup, count me in”.......

Well he's right. People forget he didn't get there until after April 25, 2017, which was the day Congress confirmed him to the DAG post. He had to hit the ground running since by May 9 he's involved in firing James Comey.

Rosenstein closes by blasting politically expedient politicos, “mercenary” critics, and reporters. “Some of the nonsense that passes for breaking news today would not be worth the paper was printed on, if anybody bothered to print it....The principles are what abide.”

Of the Russia probe, Rosenstein says,”I did pledge to do it right and take it to the appropriate conclusion. I did not promise to report all results to the public, because grand jury investigations are ex parte proceedings. It is not our job to render conclusive factual findings”

He seems to blame the Obama administration, Jim Comey and unnamed leakers for polluting the atmosphere before Rosenstein got confirmed as Deputy AG.

Friends, there is a LOT to read here. Rosenstein airs grievances about the investigation and atmosphere he inherited, for starters. Thread.

Very interesting that Mueller mentioned Charles Tawil and the $10,000 in my “sentencing memo,” but decided not to mention him in the Mueller memo. Looking forward to what congress has to say about the $10,000 in marked bills.

"...and that's why cuz if they weren't doing anything wrong, it would have just gone by nobody would have cared about it. It was pretty insignificant, I thought, when I said it." Absolutely incredible lol.

Regarding President Trump's Obama/wiretap tweet: "...two years ago, when I said that, just on a little bit of a hunch and a little bit of wisdom maybe, it blew up because they thought maybe I was wise to them or they were caught..."

Actually, we’re four episodes in, and I don’t want to choose a side because the writing is so good and both sides are making very human mistakes. It’s a really smart, well done show. And you two are fantastic.
