The children who are sick because hospitals have been destroyed. The children at risk of being killed by landmines or attacks on schools. The children separated from family, left vulnerable to exploitation. As we go about our daily lives, we must never forget theirs.

The title NS have given it isn't entirely descriptive of the talk. The talk is about the mismatch in the rates of evolution of technology and biology which leads to a crisis for us particularly in terms of mental health.

Absolutely. It is all about the lag between biological evolution, particularly related to social cognition & health, & technological evolution.The social brain just can't keep up. Understanding this means we can be aware of the threats technology poses to our fundamental selves.
