Excited to be joining in September for this great event! I'll be talking about the hormone and brain changes which motivate and empower men to be dads and running workshops focusing on dad's mental health and relationship dynamics. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Off to the to talk to FYIR group about critical role dads play in child development. Pro social & learning behaviours, language, physical and mental resilience. Key during pre school & adolesence. Hoping my message finally leads to support and change.

Cardiff I'm coming to see you to talk all about the Neuroscience of Love. 9.7.19. Why is love addictive? Do my genes influence how I feel? Are love drugs a reality? Can I fall in love with a robot? Answers to these and many more.....

It's International Fathers' Mental Health Day & we're revealing some findings from our 2019 Survey. This one is a bit of a shocker. 83% percent of Scottish dads found it difficult or impossible to find the mental health support they needed.

And dads are a powerful role model for their daughters. Have a strong, open and sensitive relationship with your daughter and you influence her future career & academic success, how she navigates love & her mental resilience.

HAPPY DADS' DAY to all the dads out there. Biological, adoptive, step-, social...even whole teams of dads. Because who gets to be dad isn't about genes it's about stepping up & doing the job. & remember that you are unique, you are meant and you are a god of play!

Penultimate dads' day tweet: a podcast from debating the issues of dad guilt, the perfect parent (?!) & why dad's job is to give a kid a very long leash....thought provoking but relaxed for the w/e. 22.30 in.

Absolutely don't rename it! Dads come in many different forms and as long as we remember who gets to be dad isn't about the genes but about stepping up and doing the job then there are many people who can be celebrated on Fathers' Day.
