More and more countries have the pandemic closer to under control, while many US states, including ones that have reopened, are hitting daily case and death records. TX, GA, and VA, testing only about 1/3 as much as Massachusetts, are seeing new case records daily. Ugly stuff.

As a fellow Boston resident I’m disturbed by how many people don’t wear masks when they go out for their walks/runs

You would think a federal coordinated lockdown of 4 weeks or would of nipped this in the bud, but that would be rational

Reopening will always entail a spike in cases and deaths, period. But if the health system isn't overwhelmed and the fatality rates remain under one percent perhaps that was the right move, in the long run

I'll agree with that... What is the plan if the Health system becomes overwhelmed again? That is my problem.

People in Texas don’t care. As long as a politician says they’re for Blue Bell, Football, Dr. Pepper, Jesus, and Whataburger a million could die or Covid19 and no one would bat an eye.

At this point we need anti-body testing population. In Georgia hospitals are fully stocked on tests but no one to use them on
