We made it - 3.05pm and time to collapse in a heap! Have a lovely half term - Year 11, do lots of revision - otherwise have a nice rest and we will see you on 25 February bright and early at 8.45am!

Congratulations to our new Executive Prefect Team - Amelia Brooks and Gaby Holland-Villa and their deputies, Jessie Humphreys and Haydn Peak! The new prefects will be taking on their responsibilities after half term, allowing the Year 11s to concentrate on their Mocks and GCSEs.

Congratulations to our Public Speaking teams - magnificent at 'Rotary Youth Speaks'. Our senior team won with Lana Mae Garrett's passionate speech on "The Youth is the Future"! Our teams were: Jesse Kibble, Lana Mae Garrett & Lexie Aston and Leo Watts, Adam Parvin & Toby Bridle.

YEAR 7 RUGBY UPDATE The year 7 boys are through to the final of the ‘DISTRICT’ cup! Date to be announced! With the convincing win against Hurst yesterday we are also through to the FINAL of the ‘COUNTY CUP’ 6th March! Parents book it off.. Boys.. it’s over to you now

Fairtrade Fortnight coming up after half term and the Global Ambassadors are already on it! Not only will there be the delicious Fairtrade Breakfast on Wednesday 6 March but also a Fairtrade raffle and even a Fairtrade Ready Steady Cook! Watch this space!

Another convincing win for Downlands Year 7 rugby team! We beat 10-1. The effort and controlled aggression ensured the boys exhibited some incredible rugby! Parents and Headmaster Mr Wignall were blown away by the boys attitude and determination.

Downlands year 7 rugby team at Hurst prep school later today in the next round of the county cup! With a win at Hurst we will finish top of our group. It would be great to have as many supporters there as we can! 3:15pm Kickoff (BN6 9JS) Chalkers lane entrance!
