I’ve always understood(maybe wrongly)that this is why you catch fewer colds as you get older, because you’ve already had that variety & have immunity. Those of that worked in GP surgeries for 30 yrs of course galloped through the menu at speed.

Oh yes Middlemarch would keep us going for weeks. I did it on the scribbles over a full year a while back, split into the original published instalments so we got the atmosphere. It was a great success. This year we are doing A Dance to the Music of Time.
