270 on 11/03/20 was always the only real route to making this a 4 and not 8 year nightmare. He’s not resigning, he’s not getting impeached and the popular vote is not getting established. With a strong nominee and millions of committed volunteers working hard, we can do it.

A good time to repost these words from #3 and #6 seem especially germane today.

Let’s say Trump goes down in disgrace from Mueller or the SDNY or Congressional investigations. We’re left with a big question: How did a guy like that get elected? Why do so many still support him? We can’t just say “Fox News” or “Russians.” We have serious issues to sort out.

Mueller finds Russians aided Trump but the campaign didn’t conspire. Knowing this, Trump could have denounced Russia all along and backed the investigation. Instead he publicly asked for Russian help, falsely denied receiving any, and said Republican investigators were Democrats.

Two kinds of bullshit being peddled today. 1. The summary of the report exonerates Trump. (Other investigations are ongoing.) 2. The Democratic party was planning on Russiagate for 2020.

5 RULES FOR WHEN NEWS ABOUT MUELLER REPORT COMES OUT. 1. Believe only the text of the Report, not others’ characterizations of it. This WH in particular spins “up” as “down” (like the Nunes documents).

There are at least DOJ districts with active investigations (Though some eager beavers think every sealed indictment is related to Trump, so the number is likely far lower.)

He can stay, he can go. He can be impeached, or voted out in 2020. But removing Trump will not remove the infrastructure of an entire party that embraced him; the dark money that funded him; the online radicalization that drummed his army; nor the racism he amplified+reanimated.

4/ For better or worse, the Mueller investigation has been wrongly turned into an exercise in whether "collusion" can be proved. I've said many times that "collusion" is not a legal term, and explained why that was *not* Mueller's mission.

6/6 As was stated in the letter, to prove a cover up, it's necessary to prove that a crime occurred. I'm not endorsing the Barr letter, I'm just explaining the logic they used.

5/6 Communications intercepts are nearly impossible to use as evidence, if for no other reason, the process of how they were obtained would have to come before the court. There ain't nobody gonna let go of those sources & methods.

4/6 Also remember that the foundation for the original claims about a Trump-Russia connection came from foreign intelligence communications intercepts. (Estonia & one other, i can't remember which one)

3/6 Remember that he had to develop a case convincing enough to present to a jury.
