A Facebook spokesperson telling CNN: “This person has made clear he registered as a candidate to get around our policies, so his content, including ads, will continue to be eligible for third-party fact-checking.”

Yeah needs to be a lawsuit - either everyone gets to say fake things or Facebook quits allowing fake advertisement. Or just stops all political advertising entirely.

They selectively remove ads. There was a fake ad done by another politician against conservatives like Graham. Those were pulled. But other ads that attacked Biden and Warren. Whom Mark disagrees with. Are still on FB. Even though the politicians making them said they are lies.

But, he's running for political office, so how do they know, and how can they fact check, that he's telling the truth when he says it's solely to get around fact checking? Their own policy says he can lie and not be fact checked, if he's running for political office.
