The Bluestone is back to the creamy oaky style, like the Tarara. I won’t draw any state generalizations from that. 😉 nice texture and body, ripe stone fruit. Nicely done.

I can’t follow this jumble of a thread anymore, so I’ll move on. the Old Westminster Premier Chard ‘16 has more new oak than the Tarara but tastes less oaky. That’s probably because of the 25% steel portion. Well done, Lisa! 👍

Thank you for coming to Drink Local Wine. That turned into a debut party for Old Westminster! 😉

The Big Cork is, well, bigger than the Galer, but showing a deft hand with the oak. Very nice, Dave C! Groovin’ on it.

Not sure I agree, though Va bards seem to have improved overall recently.

The Galer is quite nice - I like the all stainless and great acidity for freshness. Like a Macon, though more fruity than mineral.

“Sometimes a good just needs to get the job done, but with a little added flair. This juicy red blend based on ’s own nero d’avola is ideal for casual weeknight meals such as pizza, pasta, even grilled fish or meat” Thanks 🍷
