I asked the city: Where are the meeting minutes authorizing the purchase? Where are the financial records? Where are the conflict of interest forms? The city refused to provide the records. Even the city attorney appeared at a loss. 3/

After stalling for weeks, the city finally released 29 pages of documents. The city provided deed records, maps that appeared to have been highlighted by hand and a letter. No records showing how much the city paid. No independent appraisal. No conflict of interest forms. 2/
