One of my favorite features of our redesigned Signal v Noise blog is the absence of any stars, flags, likes, or other metrics of approval. Just a few people chiming in via the comments. (Irony of this tweet having those fucking counters smeared all over it DUELY RECOGNIZED).

I’ve been using these β€œVanity” rules to block counters on Twitter and Medium for a couple of weeks.

Have you tried Twitter Demetricator by ? It really makes a huge difference to the experience. Obviously only for desktop, though
